Paul Jordan is a sound and visual artist based in London. Inspired by his experience in the film music industry, his work focuses on a continually expanding and constantly evolving conceptual Soundtrack and Storyboard, telling his story through the abstraction of sound and visual sources. The work is mainly derived from deconstructed recordings and photographs taken from daily events and experiences.

Started in May 2018, the intention behind the project is to create a single, continuous score comprising 1024 cues across 64 reels, soundtracking and storyboarding the life of its author as well as those who are a part of his story. Most cues are released two weeks apart with each reel consisting of 16 cues spanning approximately 8 months. The Storyboard provides a visual narrative to the Soundtrack comprising Cue, Reel and Score Series collectors' prints on Hahnemühle Bamboo (storyboard.pauljordanost.com). The project is a public work in progress with all cues released using incremental Soundtrack and Storyboard version numbers, documenting any revisions made to the work during the course of the project, similar to the production of a film score.

The work features different concepts and identities from the past, present and future, some fictional and others real, but it is also open to anyone who would like to be part of the project.
